| Thank you for taking the time to visit our web
site. This page, I hope, will give you an insight to the members of my
family, myself, and why we became bulldoggers. Before you meet my family I would like to tell you a bit about myself. My name is Steve Williams;
I have been married to Jane for 18years. I have 3 fantastic children of
whom you will see later on. We live in Hampshire between Southampton
and Winchester,
having moved here from |
Whatever thoughts I had of dog showing being an easy day out were blown completely out the water on our very first attempt. Arnie, bless him, literally peed himself in the middle of the ring and I felt like doing the same. Even now after just over a year of showing I still leave the ring feeling as though I've just gone 15 rounds with Frank Bruno, but if there was ever a good addiction this is it. Bulldogs have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, but circumstances meant it was not possible for us to have one. Then when circumstances changed, and having talked it through with the family, we began the search to find our very own bully and make a dream a reality. That dream was fulfilled in the shape of Arnie (LaRoyal Big Brother). ***Building The Future on Solid Foundations*** Jaminic British Classic for Bulltannia Owning my own bulldog was never going to be enough for me and it was not long before I was convinced breeding and creating our own Bulltannia bloodline was what I wanted to do. Mike and Jackie Gee of Jaminic Bulldogs have given us that opportunity in the shape of Jaminic British Classic for Bulltannia (Maddie). These are exciting times for us at Bulltannia and I believe Maddie will make a truly 1st class foundation bitch for the Bulltannia bloodline.

Our Affix The Kennel Club granted our affix in Jan 03. It did not take us long to come up with the name Bulltannia. The emblem of Britannia is easy to associate with and is a symbolic representation of Great Britain and the British Empire. To me, and many others, the bulldog is a representation of greatness, courage, loyalty and honesty, he commands the ground he walks on, and therefore it seemed only fitting to put the two together birthing the name BULLTANNIA.
Special Thanks Special thanks to Jackie and Sara Lamont of LaRoyal for their continued support and advise. For someone being new to the breed it has been a great comfort knowing I can pick up the phone for any advise I may need.
To Mike and Jackie Gee of Jaminic Bulldogs for entrusting Maddie's safe keeping to us giving us this great opportunity and for their support and valued advice.
Sara many thanks for your help and advise in creating this web site. |
